Sport

I have been practicing fencing (épée) since 1990, with some pauses (currently on hiatus). I was ranked 21st overall in Italy in 1996-97, and I’ve been U21 regional champion in Liguria and vice-champion absolute in 1997. I’ve also been vice-champion at the Italian university championships. My clubs have been Cesare Pompilio and Circolo della Spada Liguria in Genova, UPV Sección Esgrima and Club Mediterráneo in Valencia, Racing Club and Garde Républicaine in Paris.

I also practice skiing, though not at competitive level (although I was ranked 3rd at the Genoa University championships in 1996).

Music

I have played cello at amateur level since I was 12. I play Bach especially, but sometimes I try Dvořák, adaptations of Carlos Gardel’s works, and Irish folk.
